Information we collect

SkillMerchant may collect information you provide when you purchase a product or contact support, including your name, email address, purchase details, and support messages. Payment card information is processed by Stripe and is not stored by SkillMerchant.

We also collect limited technical and usage information, such as pages viewed, product interactions, referral and campaign information, and pseudonymous browser/session identifiers used to understand how the site is used.

How we use information

We use information to process purchases, deliver products, provide support, operate and secure the service, understand product and site performance, improve SkillMerchant, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

SkillMerchant uses service providers including Stripe for payments, Supabase for data and secure product delivery, Resend for transactional email, GitHub for source control, and GoDaddy for website hosting. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Browser storage and analytics

SkillMerchant uses browser local storage and session storage to maintain pseudonymous analytics identifiers. We do not currently use these identifiers to sell personal information or serve targeted advertising.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including transaction records, customer support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and business analysis. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Some transaction or compliance records may need to be retained.

Children

SkillMerchant is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as SkillMerchant evolves. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
